Installing Pivit

  1. 1

    Run the installer

  2. 2

    Pick your hotkey

Pivit suggests Alt + Space on first launch. Any combination works, and you can change it later in settings.

  3. 3

    Start typing

Press your hotkey anywhere in Windows and type an app name, a sum, a search, or a question for the AI.

Download questions

Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and includes the launcher, calculator, window management, web search, system controls and themes. A Pro plan adds AI chat and cloud sync.

You need a free Pivit account to download the installer. The account is what syncs your settings and licence between machines.

Pivit supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. The installer is around 167 MB and Pivit takes roughly 700 MB once installed. There is no macOS or Linux build yet.

SmartScreen flags installers it has not yet seen from a given publisher. Choose More info and then Run anyway. The warning disappears as the release builds reputation.

Pivit checks for updates in the background and installs them on restart, so you do not need to download the installer again.
