System
Audio, brightness, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, locking and power commands.
Direct controls for the machine, so changing a system setting does not mean opening a system settings panel.
Commands
| Command | Does |
|---|---|
| Toggle Mute | Mutes or unmutes system audio |
| Increase Brightness | Raises display brightness by 10% |
| Decrease Brightness | Lowers display brightness by 10% |
| Toggle Wi-Fi | Turns the Wi-Fi radio on or off |
| Toggle Bluetooth | Turns the Bluetooth radio on or off |
| Lock Screen | Locks the session |
| Sleep | Puts the machine to sleep |
| Restart | Restarts Windows |
| Shut Down | Shuts the machine down |
Every one is available on the Pivit Wheel. Lock Screen is on it by default.
Worth binding
Toggle Mute and Lock Screen are the two most people bind to a shortcut — both are things you want instantly, often while something else has your attention.
Sleep, Restart and Shut Down act immediately. Give them a shortcut only if you are confident you will not press it by accident, and keep them off the wheel unless you have a reason to want them a flick away.
Availability
This plugin is Windows-only and does not load on other platforms. Brightness control depends on your display reporting itself to Windows correctly; external monitors connected over some inputs do not, in which case the brightness commands will have no visible effect.
